COMMUNITY INPUT BLOG:
Pillar Design Studios’ unique approach to the design and construction execution of action sports facilities sets us apart from our competitors. It is widely known that communities measure the success of recreation facilities by the number of users. Pillar believes that community involvement and ownership of the project during the design process also contributes to its success.
Our goal is to have the community be more involved with the design process, so we have created a website that each member will have access to a private chat room that will host conversations between the community and the designers. This site will show the design concepts and what the community members think. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the final design of their facility.
A username and password will be given out at the design meetings. You will need these things to access your community design website.
SOCIAL MEDIA:
Pillar Design Studios' was an early adopter of Social Media. We strongly believe in communicating with our clients and stakeholders through their preferred channels of communication. We communicates project updates, company news, skatepark events and other relevant project information through our Wordpress blog, Twitter, Facebook along with visual updates through Flickr and our YouTube channel. Rather than using traditional methods of communication, Social Media has proven to be the fastest way for the community and stakeholders to stay informed.
